Paris, France VFT: Tourist Attractions
We have learned about the history, culture,
and geography of Paris. On this page of the Virtual Field Trip we are
going to learn about tourist attractions. As many of you probably know
there are many tourist attractions in Paris. I will only touch upon a
few of them but if you are still interested in other attractions I
definitely encourage you to research them.

The first tourist attraction that I want to
talk about is the Louvre (Art) Museum. The Louvre is an art museum and
many of you may
already be familiar with it but you may still learn
more about it. I will bring you to the Louvre's official website. You
can look at some paintings, pieces of art, learn about the history of
the Louvre and do many other things.

The next tourist attraction in Paris that I
want you to learn about is Notre Dame. Notre Dame is a Catholic
cathedral. I found a website called www.notredamedeparis.fr.
Notredamedeparis.fr talks about Notre Dame and give a lot of
information about the cathedral itself (rather than the events that
take place in Notre Dame).

For the last tourist attraction I thought I
might as well do one of the most famous tourist attraction in
the world, the Eiffel Tower. I found an official Eiffel Tower
website called www.toureiffel.paris. There are many different things that
you can do on the Eiffel Tower website.
